Terms & Conditions

Booking

  1. 50% advance payment is required for advance booking of rooms and tours.
  2. Standard cancellation policy will apply (see below).
  3. Advance amount can only be paid Online by UPI / Bank Transfer / Payment gateway (card / UPI / EMI).
  4. Payment is accepted towards the Official current account of M/S Explore Beyond only.
  5. Payment invoice & booking confirmation will be issued at the earliest by the management.
  6. Balance amount is payable on the day of commencement of the trip.
  7. For all sort of weather emergencies if parts of the trip are cancelled, appropriate refund is applicable.
  8. If due to road conditions or closures, diversions are necessary, extra fare may be applicable, such payments should be done directly to the vehicle driver.

Modifications and Cancellations

  1. During off-peak time Up to 7 days before start date domestic packages are fully refundable.
  2. During peak time Up to 14 days before start date domestic packages are fully refundable.
  3. Organized tours for foreign nationals - cancellable upto 30 days before the trip (for both peak and off-peak times).
  4. For cancelled trips, refund will be sent to valid bank accounts within 5 working days.
  5. Within 7 or 14 days of start date (depending on peak / off-peak time) and in case of trips for foreign nationals within 30 days, the 50% advance is non-refundable.
  6. Once the trip commences the entire amount is non-refundable.
  7. Changes in the program is possible during the trip, however cancellation / modification of any particular property or vehicle booking is subjected to charges.
  8. In case of the entire travel plan being cancelled due to severe weather conditions like landslide or floods and road closures full refund will be issued.

Our responsibilities

  1. Ensure that all bookings are available as mentioned in the contract.
  2. Ensure that the quality of accommodation and transport or any other amenities are as described.
  3. Ensure punctual services as much as possible under all circumstances.
  4. Respond to any complaint raised by the traveller during the trip and ensure proper resolution of any issues raised by the travellers.
  5. Help with list of things to carry and sort of clothing and other gears to take for the trip.
  6. Povide safety information ahead of the trip.
  7. Provide all information regarding rules and regulations of the region and necessary paperwork.
  8. Update the travellers in case of change of schedule due to any unavoidable circumstances.
  9. Keep the travellers up to date about weather conditions ahead of the trip.
  10. Keep the travellers up to date about road closures and or diversions.
  11. Provide maximum support during weather emergencies.
  12. Keep FRO records up to date for foreign nationals.
  13. Liase with the respective embassies in case of emergencies if the traveller is a foreign national.

Travellers' responsibilities

  1. Provide correct information and paperwork required for the trip.
  2. Make all payments on time as per the contract.
  3. Foreign nationals must have valid travel documents and carry them all the time.
  4. Arrive on time at the appointed pick up point as mutually agreed.
  5. While on the road, the driver of the vehicle or the Official Guide (if any) will be in charge of your safety. You need to abide by the instructions given by them for your own safety.
  6. Prior to commencement of trip, check and agree with us on dimension/weight of the luggage that can be accommodated during the trip.
  7. Ensure good conduct and respectful behaviour towards the local people, cab drivers and all persons involved with providing services.
  8. Abide by local customs, especially while visiting religious sites.
  9. Abide by the customs and excise rules and regulations of the state(s).
  10. You shall not
    • Ask any driver to violate any traffic rules, or the city police or government rules or other applicable laws for any reason whatsoever.
    • Coerce any driver to overload the boot space of the Vehicle with the User's luggage.
    • Coerce any driver to venture into rough roads or drive under adverse weather conditions.
    • Use services offered under this head for any purpose which is unlawful or illegal under the applicable laws.
    • Carry any sort of illegal item or contraband on person or in the luggage.
    • Travel in an intoxicated state or under influence of any drug or similar abusive substances.
  11. Violations of any of the above or in case of abusive or disruptive behaviour, the trip can be curtailed without any refund.

Travel with gratitude

  1. Be mindful of the environment.
  2. Respect local people and customs.
  3. Do not trash your surroundings, please bring them all back to the base and we will take care of them.
  4. Be respectful of religious sites.
  5. If you are taking pictures of localites, please ask for permission.
  6. Please refrain from bargaining with local sellers, if the price does not suite you, politely move on without buying things.
  7. Be kind to animals encountered during travelling.
  8. Do not cause sound pollution by playing lound music.
  9. Maintain mutual respect towards other travellers, especially on a shared trip.
